- Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that benefit both clients and Applaud Technologies
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Responsibilities
- Prospect for potential new clients and convert them into sales opportunities
- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate services and solutions
- Create compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system
- Provide regular forecasting and reporting on sales pipeline
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
- Participate in networking events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client satisfaction
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in software, consulting, or technical services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of consultative sales approaches and solution selling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences
- Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (technical background is a plus)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, IT modernization, or technical training (preferred)
